Hey guys,
I am replumbing my fuel line from pump (mech) to carb. with braided steel and AN fittings. My question is... do I need to use teflon tape or a loc-tite type of product on the AN threads?

Steve,
I use the liquid teflon "plumbers pipe dope" stuff on the threaded fittings.
Less chance of a piece of tape getting into the fuel system and stuck in the carb's needle/seat.

No tape or sealant on AN Fittings and be careful not to tighten too much

Pipe threads you can use tape or liquid. I perfer tape as there is no wait time. As Tom said never ever use anything on AN fittings, they seal on the shoulder not the threads.

I Usually use a little bit of anti-sieze on AN fittings, but as has been said, you don't neeeed anything.
