does anyone know the lakewood part no for a 67 with a 502 in it? is the alinging kit necessary to install it ? my motor has two dowel pins on the back of it will that work for alinging it? I will be using a muncie trans. thank you Mike

Any reason you would not think the 15000 wouldn't work ?

The aligning kit is to index the center of the bell to the block.
If you suspect your's is off ,then Yes ,use it.

Mike I do not suspect it is off I just am getting ready to install a 502 in my 67 and I see this alinging option in jegs and summit I am wondering if this is something I need to look into I was not sure of the part no. thank you Mike any help I would appreciate

It will be off - they all are. Get the kit and line 'er up.

I agree, the best concentric Lakewood bellhousing I ever indexed was off .032". Plan to take the time to set it up properly.

Really?

The 50.00 Lakewood I got off of Ebay was off by ~.018. Got her within .001 w/the offset dowels.

I heard some Mcclouds cant get in that range.
