I made a new post because unfortunately my other one got ignored! I need to find an oil pressure port on my 454 it is a mid 70's block, it has 2 big ports above the oil filter but they are both being used for my oil pressure/oil temp guages, i can't use a "T" because of the headers and z bar. SO i am wondering if there is anywhere else on the block to tap off of? i need to put a sender for the fuel pump so it won't run unless there is oil pressure, please help@! thanks!

You could remove one of them and put a high pressure hose into the block and then add a T or Y to the hose.

Try along the driver's side oil pan rail. There are four 1/8" NPT plugs that lead to a galley that feeds the mains. Most 70's-80's carbureted P/U's with 454's use the front one for both the oil pressure sender and the choke power switch.

There is also one at the very front of the drivers side oil galley.
