There is a trans crossmember on ebay which the guy said would work with an auto or 4 spd. Is this true? Will it work with my Muncie even if it's for an auto?

The only difference between the automatic and 4-speed crossmember is the bracket that the Muncie shifter bolts to. Unless you are using the original Muncie shifter, it won't matter.
