Post your favorite song! It's late and I'm listening to him, just wondering what everyone else likes.

I cant pick just one, I'd say it's between "I don't want to talk it over anymore" and "cowboy rides away".

Run is good for new stuff...but I've gotta go old school, something off his first or second album. Either "Unwound" or "Fool Hearted Memory". Both take me back to growing up in Lytle, TX...about 15 minutes from Pearsall, TX, where George Strait grew up.

GREAT question!!

I'm with Terry, that's one of my favorites and I'd have to put Baby Blue right up there also. Pretty much any song by him could be put up at the top, he's one of the greats.

Man there's so many...."Heartland", "Living and living well", "Ocean front property", "Cowboys like us", "I hate everything" are a few that come to mind, though I grew up with "The chair" and "The fireman".

Ever notice how George is still making kick ass chart topping tunes even after being in the country business for over 25 years? Not many have done that/can do that, but George just keeps churning them out.

Well it helps that he has the best people in the industry writing songs for him, coupled with the fact that modern country music has gone to hell. I hope with the emergence of hack bands such as rascal flats, who are about as country as the sears tower, that he is making even more money these days.
