Where is a good place to start at? I know every car is different but I haven't a clue what range of jets to get.

Here is some info.
small block 400 bored .040
9 to 1 compression.
Comp Cams XE284H cam, Comp 1.5 roller tip
Heads are Vortec 906 castings.
Intake is Professional Products "Airgap" dual plane intake topped of by a Holley 750 carb.

Car weighs @ 3800 with 3.42 gears. TH2004r trans. 1 5/8 headers, 2.25 dual exhaust

Thanks

If it was me I would start out with stock jetting and go from there. A friend has the exact same combo and it's wicked fast with tons of low end torque! graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Get you carb's list number, buy a "jet kit", and go here http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLine/CarbList.pdf Put whatever it says in it. Then experiment from there.

The right size, is whatever makes the car run the best. The engine will tell you quite plainly what it wants, if you just listen to it.

My sig has the details but we ended up with this jet setup. 750dbl with 74's in the front and 80's in the rear. It seems to like it and runs well. I have ran it lean and rich on the secondaries and there was a noticeable difference in power running a tad rich on the secondaries. It made more power with the 80's vs 74s or 76's.
