Every time I go with a loose 10 inch or 8 inch converter I can't cut consistant good lights:( Have too leave up high like 2600 rpm or higher! If I use a tight 10 inch or 11 inch converter I do much better:D But Man does the car slow up:( I am using Good quality converters ! I called a converter Company The other day and he also recommended an 8 inch! This is one time I disagreed! I can run 7.20's 1/8th all day with the loose converter but slow up with the tight ones! :(

driver skill, practice on the lights more? there really isn't much else you can do....unless you man up and put a 4-speed in the car. :D

I would MAN up with the 4spd if all the other bracket racers would:D I ordered another 10 inch converter today:) It is much tighter-600 rpms less-I think I can get the lights back then. Its a reg 5 tenths tree.
