: Pictures of 4spd pedals/linkage?

Anybody have pictures of an actual original 4spd pedals and linkage to a '69?

I have three sets of pedal ... 1 - '69 GTO, 1 - '69 Chevelle roundy car, 1 - '68 Chevelle stock. Surprisingly, not one looks the same. The '69 Chevelle set are pretty hacked, and I don't think original. I'm thinking I'll go with the '68 set, but how close are they to a '69 pedal?

Linkage ... I don't even remember buying this, but I've got a Year One crossbar, and a factory something crossbar. The factory looks like the right angles, but slightly different bends than the Year One. By the way, the factory one (whatever it fits) is a heck of a lot heavier than the Year One piece and I'd like to use!

Anyhow, anybody got a picture of a set of '69 pedals and/or a '69 crossbar to know what a real factory piece looks like?

Thanks, Neal

The 68 to 72 Chevelle GM pedals are suppose to be the same. Maybe a different type of switch or no switch during the years. They should all work. The rebuilt original GM pedals that will be going in my 71 do have that switch with 2 wires on it which I don't think the 71 had.

To my knowledge 71 had a diffrent switch. I have a nos one in the box downstairs somewhere. Think the pedal assy was very slightly diffrent too.

All 68-72 will interchange though.

Oh yeah, sorry for confusion ... I know all the '68-72 pedals will interchange. Just trying to figure out which one's are correct.
Thanks, Neal

What the heck is that big silver thing on the side of the clutch pedal. Never seen that before.

Sorry to go a bit off topic, but the big rusty bracket that the pedals hang from, is that the same part on an automatic and stick shift car? In other words, to convert auto to stick, do I need to swap that out too (not sure what to call it). Thanks-Dave.

The neutral safty switch mechanism, has a 2 wire lead coming from it. Clutch pedal to floor to be able to start Vehicle. Not sure what year its too, 68 or 69. Unbolts off.

Thats the main bracket. I was checking my automatic set up and it looks different at the point where it would attach the clutch and brake pedal. I don't think the automatic type would work with clutch and brake pedal. Not sure about that bracket. but I'm installing what you see in my pics..

that big main bracket is the same, just pull the clip off the huge pivot pin, slide pin out, and then your stick pedals go right in place.
