So, why do you think you need one? Even on the RLP site they've got an 800HP 412SB for sale, no mention of main girdle. I've been building Chevy's since 1974, never needed one. Never seen one on the bottom of a NASCAR engine. Used to the engine work for a SBC fuel car, never needed one. 434 dirt engines don't need one. I've built turbo boat engines that were really run hard, didn't need one. I've done two Chevies that went to Bonneville, didn't need one.
Sometimes it really is true, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
Of course, YMMV, IMHO, all that jazz. Not trying to be a hard guy, but hate to see guys spending a lot of money for something that probably won't help much.

i'm planning on 575-600 horsepower on motor and possibly 700 on the giggle juice, and i don't wanna go to the trouble and expense of converting to 4-bolt splayed caps.(yes, its crazy) graemlins/clonk.gif i have heard from several drag racers of a common problem with 2-bolt main caps walking on high horsepower 350 smallblock chevys.i figure i'll be safe with a 1/2 block fill and a main girdle.i'm gonna punish this motor pretty good.
