i have a 402 that im building. ive ran across a 454, and its put me in a situation. I can pick up the 454 pretty cheap and its in good shape, My 402 is in the machine shop and is almost done. the 402 is fairly hot i guess you would say. 274-280 duration, 568 578 lift. higer comp pistons air gap intake, holley DP 750. the usually stuff. The 402 has the 292 heads on it, would i benifit at all by putting the 781 heads from the 454 on the 402???? Im pondering the thought of selling the 402 and just putting a cam in the 454 and some minor stuff and dropping it in, i think it would be cheaper for me at the moment, but yet ill spend a little more $$$ for the better performance.

Keep your 292 and sell me your 781 heads?

well i may end up buying the 454 and just selling it, i havent decided yet, if the 781 heads were better for my 402 i was just gonna put them on my 402. Ive spent the better part day trying to decide what i want to do. either way im selling a motor.
