We are restoring a 72 Malibu vert, getting a new top and all new weatherstripping. Has anyone ever seen the rear upper panel seals that are supposed to be back by the piston covers when the top is down. Someone told me I need to replace them but I haven't found anyone who sells them. Not even sure what they look like. Anyone else know what they are and do I really need to replace them?

I just randomly came across these and was wondering if it was something I actually needed? Not sure where they go. Sorry to bump a post this old but I'm curious.
