Hey guys, I did some searching here and in interiors and didn't find a good answer to this.. The few inches above the door panels where you would rest your arm on the door/window opening, should that be the same color as the exterior of your car or the interior? I've had cars that were both ways, so I'm not sure what the right answer is.. This is on a '67 Malibu.

While I'm here, should the top of my dash be black also (my interior is black) or should it be body color? My dad's '66 is body color on top of the dash, but interior color on the dash itself and I'm almost positive that car has never been re-painted.

Thanks in advance!!

My car had the original interior and interior paint when I bought it. White with blue interior. Top inside of doors was blue.

With a black interior, all your metal parts are black also. They are not suppose to be glossy like the exterior though. They should be 60% gloss on the doors and 0% gloss on the forward dash piece in front of the dash pad.
