I am looking at a holley 770 cfm street avenger for my 69 chevelle 396 plan on using with a edlebrock rpm intake. Anyone used the avenger carb? any feedback on the street avenger carbs would be great

I have run the 770 Street Avenger on my 70 396, with an Edelbrock performer Rpm intake, for just over a year now and have had excellent results. The idle , out of the box, was a little high due to the choke setting, but the instructions tell how to lower it. A 1/4 inch wrench and a little adjustment to the bolt behind the choke and it's ok.The carb is very easy to adjust if necessary, and comes with extra vacuum secondary springs that can be changed with just two screws.I'm no carb expert, but this carb ran fine just bolting it on. :D
I also run an electric fuel pump, and have braided line from the pump to regulator to carb dual line. I used the summit adjustable dual feed line for the carb. Some photos are in my signature. It's an easy install and has an inline filter before the pressure gauge. The engine starts instantly every time and the carb has run well on long trips as well as short trips.
I know other team chevelle members here have used the same carb and have had good results.
