and what happened to the 355 ?

well lets see.....
i got the correct oil pan and pick-up. i have yet to try and fabricate some motor mounts (shouldn't be too hard) and build some headers. other than that, maybe stick a cam and intake on it??

i actually tore the 355 out at first to rebuild it. then i got to thinking i'm gonna put all this work into something that still won't be very quick. the 355 is still tore down to block and rotating assembly in the side of my shop. i will stick it in something one of these days!!

what kind of plans you got for the camino??

Well building another motor to start with,then doing a completly
customized everything else :D.........like interior pwr seats,pwr windows,etc....then also thought about a custom wood floor for the bed too.....ohhh and most definetly new paint :thumbsup:.....Right now I'm just saving
the $$$$$,and picking up different parts here and there while still being able to just jump in and drive it now and then. :hurray:.Have been looking for another motor to possibly build here lately though.

Hey guys, sorry it took so long to answer your questions...No, it's not a 138 car, it's a clone....had I known what I was doing when I started, I wouldn't have sunk SO much money in a Malibu....but what the heck, it's probably just as well, since I've basically changed EVERYTHING about the car, might as well save the 138's for those that are restoring them correctly.

I'm not real sure what the problem is that I'm having....I keep blowing the lower radiator hose off???? I just put aluminum heads on that 454 that's in the car, and honestly, I liked the cast heads better! the car feels like crap now, so I've got a ways to go before I get this thing ironed out!

Hopefully, I'll make it to the next cruise!!! You can usually find me either at my car, or hanging out with my older brother....he's got the yellow Corvette that you can barely see in the background, come by and say hello!
