it seems that when i hit the gas hard, ;) WOT it hit a flat spot i was told thats because its getting lean at WOT .i need help on that i need to replace and what size and
i was told that discharge nozzles .031 would be a good size to move up to??? do i change both nozzles and both pumps?? what do i need to do
I have a 454 with a victor jr intake and lunati cam, 871 heads with 2.190/ 1.880 valves hooker headers (fat ones, a pain to install)

How long is the hesitation and is it instant at WOT? Are you driving when you go to wot or sitting still? Are you stalling the engine up? You may be able to skip some steps depending on the answers.

I am assuming the sec side needs some pump work. With a single plane manifold you may need to go to a bigger squirter. You do have the orgonal pumps right? I thought they came with .031s. If you don't have .031s try them if you do I would try .037s most cars I have had with a single plane and an 850 needed squirters in the 40s to work correctly.

Well the car is not on the road , i'm still breaking in the heads and cam , i have stock nozzles on now. i will find out today witch size
and post it later, its flat spot is when i pull back on throttle fast. not at WOT like i posted, sorry i missed led you
at WOT it revs fine but every now and then i get a pop i the pipes, now i still have to hook up the vac advance on the hei ,i don't know if this helps you at all? i'm still playing with timming
tweeking. i do have a th400 its not a stick ;)

It could be primary shot duration or pump adjustment but I would not make changes until the timing it right.

Could be that the throttle plates are too far open at idle, using the transition circuit to idle the engine. An engine will bog when the plates are snapped open if this is the case. The transtion circuit adds fuel between idle and when the acc pump comes into play. It is a common problem when people open the throttle plates to get an engine with a little cam to idle. But could also be one of a hundred other things.
