Anyone know the deal with header spacers. I have heard nothing but good things from these little metal wonders. For some they may not have any idea what I am talking about.
Some local guys here have been putting spacers between their heads and headers. Any where from 1/2" up to 1". The guy running the 1" has them on a 393 stroker 351 ford motor and gained .15 seconds from doing so. He is very methodical about his changes to his car and has verified his results with numerous runs with and without them. So if anyone here has heard of them or deals with them, do you know where I can get some to try or would I be better off just making my own.
