My black and crank will be ready next week and im still trying to figure out what combo im going to be using. At this point this is what im aiming for.
350(.020 over)
edelbrock rpm heads and intake
holley 3310(750)
3:73 posi
headers
hei with msd
2200-2400 B&M Holeshot stall
9:5 SPEEDPRO pistons

*If i choose this combo what cam should i run to get the best torque, mid and upper rpm?
*Is there a better carb for this setup? I run this on my other chevelle and like it.
*Are there better heads for the same price?
*Is B&M holeshot a good converter?

If your CR is really 9.5-1..I like the xe268 or the xe274 in hydraulic. The 274 would like a little more converter. The xs268s10 solid cam is very good. I ran one with a simular combo in my 4000lb truck and went 13.4 in t he 1/4. For mostly street the VS750 is a good choice. You could run a 600 or 650 just as easily, but would lose a little top end.

The machine shop just called and said the block will need to be decked .010. If i have it bored .020,decked .010, use the 9.5.1 speedpro pistons, 64cc heads and the xe268 cam. Where will my static and dynamic compression be?
