No modifications were needed on my car. Several others run the some headers. It has a nice ball and socket fit so no gaskets to worry about.

Dropped right in for me as well. Had to grind some metal off the lower control arm brackets, but no dinging on the headers was needed.

I just installed 68190's. They now come with ball & socket collectors which I didn't like because it choked the exhaust down to 2 1/4, I had a muffler shop open up the collectors to fit my 2 1/2 pipe. Also the collectors themselves were very flimsy, just my opinion. Hopefully they will seal better than the standard flat flange and gasket. If thats the case then I might like them.
From up top they fit great, but I did have to cut some material away from the lower control arm mounting brackets on both sides as well. I used a sawzall and just cut about 3/8's off the corner where it hits. Those brackets are plenty beefy so I don't think there is a problem with the modification.
