Been looking for a resonably priced rocker arm for my 408 BBC build. Ill have a 274, 280 duration comp cam with 588 lift. Most of the resonably priced rocker arms ive seen only take up to 525 lift. any help??? thanks

I have run Harland Sharpe's with cams of that size on a bbc with no problems. I think new you can buy them for around $189 maybe a tad more. graemlins/beers.gif

With out a doubt, HARLAND SHARPE rockers are great, I have ran 2 had seasons with no problems using a 722" 345 dur. cam. Glenn

Anthony,Scoggin-Dickey has a great selection of rocker arms and for the money a good 'ol set of GM long slot rocker arms are rated to .600" lift for less than $75. I guess it depends on your budget.

Sorry for the confusion. They are not Scoggin-Dickey brand. We are referring to GM long slot rocker arms. Here is the Scoggin-Dickey website.

I have ordered several items from them and their prices seem to be competitive with other mail order houses.
Or, you can but them at your local Chevy dealer.
