I have some white/gray smoke coming out my breather on the passanger side, what is the remedy to fix this. I do Not have a PVC Valve just the breather and Oil fill Cap. This is a 283 w big cam 230/230 480/480 109lsa. It was not doing this until I added a can of Marvel Mystery Oil, half in the oil and half in the fuel tank. Maybe this need to run awhile before it clears up. Before she had a rich fuel supply and I change the Power Valve from a stock 6.5 to a 2.5. I have notice that the plugs are burning a lot cleaner however the smoke started coming out of the Edelbrock Breather.

Bset thing you can do is install a PCV valve. All engines will have some blowby, and with no PCV it's gonna come out the breather. Not having a PCV will also increase your chances of oil leaks. Now the issue is why did the blowby increase? I'd change the oil and drive it a bit and see if it goes away once you get the marvel mystery oil outta there.
