I'm currently using a cheap 1850 600 vacuum secondary carb, which i've converted to dual inlet with center hung bowls, and a rear metering block. I'm wondering if I can buy a new main body and baseplate to make it a 750 vacuum secondary? Or will the metering blocks also be wrong?

After cruisin ebay I see it would be much cheaper to buy a trashed 3310 then try to make this carb bigger. Then hopefully all the parts would be matched too. Thanks.

I have been buying Holleys for $20 to $40 on ebay each winter for the last couple of years. Cheap enough to have a few spares for parts.

I've got an edlebrock. Tuned and all its nothing compared to the holley. This comes hard cause i've always hated holleys, theyve always leaked or blown power valves on me. This ones been no exception. The throttle response difference between my edlebrock and this holley is night and day. The holley has instant response and will light the tires easily. The edlebrock will not. Also love the 2nd gear shift kickout the truck will do with the holley, the edlebrock will barely chirp the tires.
When I first got the edlebrock it was so lean it actually surged on the straight and level. Had to buy the $50 kit just to jet it up where it would run right. After that it was a very dependable carb. In fact I had no plans to change. But I bought this holley for my car and it wouldnt fit with the cowl induction air cleaner. So I decided to try it on my truck. That's when I felt the difference, and now its hard to go back. Tried the edlebrock again though, experimented with different jets/rods/springs nothing seems to help it. It doesnt seem to get enough pump shot, and the secondaries open up way too late.
