So I have a '67 elco with factory 4-piston disk brakes and I am sick of them they are pieces of sh++! I have had to have them rebuilt like 5 times in the last 10 years everytime I turn around they go bad and are leaking and the stainless pistons and sleeves have been in them for about 8 years. I am thinking about putting Wilwood 4 pistons on instead. I bought some new calipers from Super Chevy in Portland Oregon but the piston size is too small. They are supposed to be 1.75" and the new ones were only 1.42'' so they are going back. Any ideas on a comparable bolt on aftermarket system like the Wilwood? Or where I can get the correct 4-piston calipers that won'tsuck? I am also going to do a smaller diameter booster and new master and new hardlines and stainless soft lines.

Easiest thing to do would be to swap to '69+ single-piston calipers and brackets... PM me if interested in a trade. :)

Thanks but no, I said I was looking for something comparable I have cars with that single piston on it and they are in no way compaprable to the 4-piston calipers.

Try Right Stuff Detailing they sell a Kit with them in it....Or they will sell you them individually....They say they are factory correct.
