We have picked up a 72 coupe with the heavy duty suspension and getting ready to fix it up for our oldest son (in the ARMY:) Iraq gona try to get it done before he gets back:D)have talked a little over the phone and we can't decide to put poly bushings in all around and 1" lowered hd springs and then maybe KONI shocks or do we drop a Hotchkis kit in. What's your thoughts? He wants it to handle but still look stock! ;)If we go with the Hotchkis wheres the best price? Still trying as what to do with an engine and trany?
Thanks Guy's/don't forget the Gal's too!!!

Go with rubber bushings, especially in the rear... poly bushings bind too much and not only do they ride terribly, but when used in the rear, they perform horribly as well.

In front they aren't too bad, but polyurethane has some cold-flow properties that will result in egg-shaped holes over time... not a real big deal though, because rubber bushings will dry out and need replacing in about the same amount of time. Delrin or Teflon bushings work best in front, and rubber or spherical bearings work best in the rear. :)

For springs, Hotchkis or Eibach with revalved Hotchkis Bilstein shocks will work very well.
