will a 67 ss hood fit on a 66 el camino? What is the general opinion, does the 67 look better than the66?

It may fit but the trim is different.I dont think it will match up with the front of your fenders. The 67 hood has a piece of trim on the front edge which mates with the trim on the fenders. ??

It might fit physically, but the front lip of the hood is completely different and it won't ine up with the fenders. The 66 has what I call a "shark nose" front while the 67 is a smooth arc.

You can now purchase new 66 SS hoods for $299 from any Chevelle Parts supplier (like our sponsor Ground Up). You will also need the hood inserts. The complete package is about $450.
