heres what i have to start with:
motown block 400 bore/350 mains
3450lb car with driver andfull tank
3500 stall
3.90 rear gear
26" e.t. street
turbo 350

want to run 11.80s on pump gas with a solid flat tappet, and keep the revs under 7k.

i was thinking afr 220s
a vic jr.
solid ft with .550-.570 lift and 246-250 duration

how does that sound?
i need recommendation on a rotating assembly and specifics on teh cam intake and heads, those are just my kinda general ideas.

thanks
rick

EDIT: i race at 5800ft elevation with DA's in the 6-7000 range not uncommon smile.gif

You could do it with a 3.75 stoke but how about a 3.850 stoke AFR 210s solid cam high 240s intake and low 250s exhaust @50. as much lift as you can get on a 108lsa. It would work good for the 3500 stall and 3.90 gears. You can shift it about 6200 or less.

the block is already clearanced for a 3.875" stroke supposedly so i could go the extra displacement easily.

210s over hte 220s?
