: How to ID Dominator?

Hey gang,

I'm trying to determine exactly what carb I purchased.
On the side it gives the list # as only 937. If I look real close...it says 9375 2.......
Only the 937 is stamped real well.
So I looked at the numbers on the metering block. AS far as I can tell, it says 34R-59768 HP. Again, very hard to read but I used my loupe.....what can I say, I'm old.
Anyway, the Holley carb list shows neither a 9375-2 or a metering block 34R-59768.

The build date is 1082...however one deciphers that. I assume it to mean it was made in late 2002.

I'm not worried, but would like to know what I'm starting with.

The main body is 12R-11259-3B

Ideas?

Ron

Hey Duane,
Nothing at all on the Holley Web Site about a 9375-2......
But then since Holley became a massive company, maybe they just can't keep up?
Although they sure have the new Ultra HP stuff up there....as wel as the VooDoo cams.........

My guess is 1050cfm for dual 4bbl.

With the new hp series there are 8896 and 9375 1050's. They are essentially the same, except the 9375 are listed for dual dominator applications. Don't fear, the only difference in metering is the high speed air bleeds are about .004 different and some people think the 9375's work better on single 4bbl applications.
