He said he would have my motor finished by Friday. Now I just have to come up with the money for the machine work and assembly...
Anyhow.. this means I am not to far off from having a new more powerful motor in my Chevelle.

The Specs of the motor that is replacing the 396(going on a stand)

73 454 2-bolt block, Bored .030 over, decked, yadda yadda...
049 heads, with larger valves, bowl blend, port work.
Scat 4.250 Crank, Rods, and SRP +18CC dome Pistons. Balanced, TY Wolfplace
Lunati Voodoo 60205 Cam, lifters, springs, retainers.
Performer RPM Intake

----------------
Still need Pump,Pan,Chain,Distributor,and Carb.

Stock Pump with the heavy spring? Do you have a link?
i was going to go with the Cloyes True roller with the 9 key ways and torrington bearing.

I am out of cash though.. its going to take me a month to pay the machinist.... :)

But I am still happy, I have a pile of parts. I also have a Northern Radiator, Shroud and 2 SPAL Fans, plus a Grand Cherokee Box in a pile. I figure someday I will have enough parts to replace the entire car. :)

Is this pain worth a darn, and will it fit in my Chevelle. (69)?

This is the best price I have found for a Pan that will clearn the stroke.
