On our '72 Lemans there is a yellow plug in module for the key buzzer. Does this unit do anything else? It has three wires into it and the wiring schematics aren't making things any clearer. The buzzer is on all the time when the key is in the run position. The Chevelle has the buzzer in the horn relay. I'll just disconnect the module if it will get rid of the noise and not affect anything else.

No the buzzers only function in life it to let you know the drivers door is open and the key is in the ignition. The problem might be with the door jamb switch but if you want to remove the buzzer nothing else will be effected.

I was wondering if there could be a chance of feed back causing the buzzer to run on? We changed the ignition switch and the contact in the steering column as the contact is usually the problem. I'll have to just snoop around a little more. Thanks for the help.
