No, not "original"... My car is modified, but I do lean toward the classic factory looks... I didn't see anywhere where "wood" wheels were optional in 1970
I'd like to get a new steering wheel for my '70 project. It has a smaller Grant wheel (a little smaller than I'd like).
I was considering the "repro" cusion grip wheel, but then I thought about the repro wood wheel (1969 "Rosewood")... I think they have similar styles, adapters, just the rim material...
Anyone do this and have some pictures?
I also saw some supplier (OPGI?) offered Grant wheels that look like the factory wood wheels, but are REAL wood... A few bucks more... Of course, with my luck, they just used the wrong pictures and they'll look nothing like a factory wheel (but they do say they are supposed to look similar)...
