How much alternator is needed to run the Mark Vlll electric fan ? Will the GM 10s 90-100 do it ?

Yes, especially with one of the newer progessive fan controllers that offer a soft start. Even if you don't have it, the 100 amps is only there for a very short time (seconds). Just make sure that all of your electrical load doesn't exceed the capacity of the alternator when you add the continuous 35 amps of the fan.
