Anyone know what the Borla XR1 Sportsmans sound like.......3 inch......and are they as loud as flows

SS540 Dec 19th, 03, 7:44 AM Scott, A good friend had Borla's on his GTO and they sounded great. Sound was totally different than Flows and I would bet they flowed better since they were a straight through design. I don't know how to describe the sound, but I liked it. They were 3 1/2" with short turdowns on them near the rear axle. He had a pretty potent 455 under the hood. Removed Dec 19th, 03, 9:11 AM Wayne was describing my Goat...........you will like them. They were different from the Flows and had a deeper sound to them. When Wayne and I drove to our cruise place people knew who we were. Go for it!
