Where's the best deal on custom length axles for a Ford Nine inch? I need to order a pair for my Son's car now that the housing is ready. The best price I've seen so far is $280. Regular 31 spline. Bob

I'd look at more than price for the little difference. I'm no axle expert but are the splines machined or rolled, how accurate is the machining, material, etc. For the sake of $50 I'd get a good piece.
