Just a quick update for those interested. I'm posting this on behalf of Dave M. (aka Sheetmetal) since he's still w/o a computer. Tonight in Houston was another good air night.
Dave's new best run looks like this:
60'-1.48
6.85@99.28
10.85@121.9

I brought my spare set of ET-Drags for Dave to try in place of his ET-streets but he was hooking so well on the "streets" we didn't even bother trying the Drags.

John,

I noticed a certain red '67 ran a little quicker as well. Mostly 60' it appears?? Have you tried a bigger carb to see what effects it has on the big end? You should still have some there if you were pulling 2"+ of vacuum.

Congrats to you and Dave both. Tell Dave I said hello when you talk to him again.

thanks Guys. i run up to the public library to use a computer. Brian, i went to the .130 needle and seats. jetted down 2 sizes and bumped the timing up 2* and went to .35 squirters. thrasher, 1/2 shift is at 5200, but the tranny dosent shift till about 6200, 2/3 shift is at 6100 and shifts about 6400, going through the traps about 6300. i got a serious scattered timing issue and im going to get a thread started. i think if i can get the problem fixed it will pick up on the back half. right now it feels like its laying down a bit on the back half.
