i'm considering doing the same with my '73.i'm torn between the "stealth look" and going with a high-gloss tuxedo black.i kinda like the sinister look of the flat black(and its ability to hide slightly-less-than-perfect bodywork) but the look of a killer shine and straight sheet metal is hard to beat!decisions...decisions. graemlins/clonk.gif

i wanted to paint mine flat black, but the wife does not like the idea, but in the end it will be flat black when it gets painted.

Local bracket guy runs a flat black 67, chopped, with a flame job. I think it's really cool. You might be able to find a pic in these archieves.

Probably get away with DP Epoxy - Black. What they call a "Rat Rod".

I was thinking of doing flat black with flat(or maybe glossy) red stripes. I haven't seen many muscle cars with the "suede" look, mostly on rods.

Spray can black primer for me right now until I get some body work. I don't know what color I want either.

I painted mine primer grey using 2K UTECH primer and painted most of my trim rustolum black because it needed replacing anyway

It will stay this way for awhile because I need to find new doors and front fenders before final paint
