Hey guys,
I was just wondering what a used chip free set of 1970 Chevelle tail lights without the reverse "bubble" lens would be worth. These are the lenses that were recalled.

Won't even hazard a guess - but on ebay, for the guy with all the dates correct that would have had those lenses, they might be worth something. I don't think it would add or detract value from a car either way - just would add something a bit different while still being "correct".

What are the diffrences? One has a buble lenz & one does not? Mine are flat, Is this the recalled one? Why did they recall it?

From what I understand the lens was originally flat over the reverse part and there was some concern that the reverse light would not put out enough light. There was a recall and the lenses that would replace the originals had a "bubble" over the reverse light to magnify the light.

Was this actually a recall or a running change during production?

Wasn't the service bulletin on this topic in a recent Chevelle World? I'd go check for you, but because we are moving mine are all put away.
