I'm a newbie to building big blocks so I need some help. I have a 454 block punched .060 over. I need to know what size head gaskets I should be getting. I'm aware of the quench values but I want to know how much larger I should go on the gasket bore.
Another q I have is are there any reccomendations on this combo I have going, I already have the parts but I was wondering if I should change anything.
454(mk IV) bored .060 over
SRP 23cc dome forged pistons
mahle FTF rings
SCAT h-beam con rods
gm forged/crossdrilled crankshaft
3993820 oval port heads (2.065/1.725 valves) bowls have been ported
isky 292megacam 244 duration @.050 (244@.050) looks like .573 lift with 1.7 rockers
scorpion 1.7 roller rockers
weiand team g single plane manifold
edelbrock eps 800 cfm carb
msd 85551 distrib with a 6al box and coil
Thanks for any help,
:beers:
