The August 07 copy of Peterson's 4Wheel and Off-Road has a really good write-up on dialing in disc brake conversions. ...has lots of explanations on hydraulics (piston diameter, piston stroke, valving, etc). Page 80 if anyone is interested.

It's Jeep-centric, but most of it applies to any brake system.
