ok pulled out the 307 in my 70 malibu droped in a 350 and i still have the powerglide behind that. now my question is how do i get my tranny kick down cable to connect to the carb (670 cfm street avanger) i think i need a longer cable but where do i get one and how long?

also will my engine starve for gas it has the 5/16 fuel line and then from the fuel pump it goes to 3/8 line.

You will have to get a TV/Kickdown cable that will work with that carburetor: HLY-20-45 Transmission Kickdown Cable Manifold Bracket (TH-350) The cable shuold be the same size. All SBC outside diameter are the same. Just check out Summit. Easy fix. If you want you could also get a larger fuel line but I doubt that you will benefit from it. You will need to tune your carburetor, I have a 670 on a 283 and had to change out the power valve and maybe changing the jets. Just for your info they come w/ 6.5 power valve and a 65 jet in the primary.
