Just got my 7 inch dual diaphram brake booster / master cylinder and prop valve.Put it in tonite only to find that the clevice rod is to short.Had to use the firewall brackets that came with the kit to mount it.Can you get a longer clevice rod?If so, do they just thread out and thread the new in?Dont have al
ot of experience with this sort of thing.These are all going on a 66 chevelle.

Are you talking about the pushrod that comes out of the booster? I wouldn't fool with that, assuming that the clevis is threaded onto the rod, it's easier to find or make a longer clevis. I'd just cut it and weld in a scab piece. No big deal, as long as you can make a good weld.
