Soungs like or combs. or alike, did you change over to the UDHarolds 280/288 solid and if you did can you tell the diffrence?

What kind of car?

My engine is still in the assembly process. I will be getting the block machined this weekend. I haven't switched over to the lunati cam yet. I want to sell my 282S cam/springs/retainers/seals first. I don't have another engine to put it in, and will have no use for the cam :( .

The car is a 68 Malibu. I bought it long before I knew anything about cars, so It's a MAJOR project. I'm going to get it going again, then I'l worry about the cosmetics. I will be getting a new driveshaft ASAP, I don't want any problems with the OEM shaft from 1968.

The rear gears are open 10-bolt 3.23:1. I'll be keeping the 10, but slapping in 3.73:1 gears and an eaton/powertrax locker. I don't plan on ever running slicks, so a decent rebuild should hold up fine. I'm also running a 2004r, so my 1st gear will be a BLAST to drive graemlins/hurray.gif
