Ok so i've got a 72 convertible, and a dealer here seems quite keen to buy it from me. It's a 350/350 with disc brakes, full gauge pack, power windows, power roof, white bucket seat interior with floor shift and console, Bumper guards and SS wheels. It has some rust in the bottom of the front fenders and the boot floor but it's pretty solid other than that, it needs paint and a new roof. The engine is a fresh crate 350 with new edelbrock inlet, carb, Flowtech headers and dual exhausts.

As i'm the other side of the pond it's a bit difficult to be 100% accurate as demand is a bit different over here, though on the plus side it's one of only 2 in this country.

Any guesses/ideas/suggestions?

Keep it :)

IMO from my experience of what I saw in Europe anything sold in the U.S. would be priced 25-50% higher across the pond. How much are they offering? My guess would be their offer is half what they think they could probably sell it for. My guess for your car here is it would be $12-15K. Over there?

I agree with Jeff, Jack. Hold out for ALL the money. I'm sure dealers there are no different than here in that they want to score a huge profit, hence are probably lowballing you. I spent plenty of time in England and you know as well as I do that American muscle/sport cars get top dollar from the right people. I think Jeff's 25-50% markup is accurate.
