company ...........Fullboar........ http://fullboarexhaust.com/hotline.htm

they make the "full flow" mufflers......a friend works at the local muffler shop and he and his co-worker runs these mufflers on there street cars that see track time and he recommended them to me...... he had two mufflers in stock and they are a fully welded design that kinda in away have a can echo "if that makes sense"

i listen two on of the cars with them on it and it dont sound to bad....maybe a touch louder then what i was wanting....but might be ok....worth a try ........

we looked up the part number and it said 413 cfm flow and was good for like 376 hp with dual exhaust using 2 1/2" pipe. the price is pretty cheap he was going to sell them to me for 40 bucks each...his cost was 34 bucks.

anyways im taking my 80 z28 in next week and we are going to fit them on there and he is going to bend me some tail pipes to go along with them.........my pipes to my mufflers now are in good shape and they are already 2 1/2"

and if i think its going to be to loud for my taste he will take them off and i can find another muffler style. and not charge me until im happy......

i think the flow numbers are good and the price is right.

just wanted to know if anyone had any comments on the name brand......they are not glass filled but have dividers in side to help with the tone of the exhaust......they are not the straight thru design........

thanks for any replys in advance

I'm running a pair of the "quietone" performance Full Boar mufflers on my 55 pickup and I like them a lot. Had them on for several years now.

its basically a ripoff of flowmasters. the exhaust pros carries their whole line. if you like the sound of blowmasters then these are a good cheap alternative, i cant tell a difference between the two soundwise smile.gif

The Quietones are a different design than the V-tubes. The V-Tubes are a more aggressive sound. Both flow about the same.
