Interesting day meeting people. Right man for the job.
Two weeks into this, feels like five, runs through mid August.
I turned down (graciously) a position (or potential position) at Logistic Solutions International. Immediate opening they needed filled (because their guy signed on with my company). I told their main man I was commited, gave my word when I took this job that I'd see it through end of summer. And if your word doesn't stand for anything.... Hiring dude was not happy I turned him down but pleased SOMEONE out there had some ethincs. So, good inroads for something if I'm not fulltime after CAMP with LSI. BTW, their new boss is a pal of some 20 years with the head recruiter where I work. This is job #3 that has called for me.
Got home, did some stuff, had son wash/rinse the Elky. Once dry, I got out your buffer/polisher. Gave her a once-over with the more coarse of the two polishes. Pad is drying now for tomorrow.....gotta see what she looks like in the sun. Evening light I see some improvement. The paint on the Meeno is probably 12-15 years old. More dings than a doorbell, more waves than Hilton Head. May have to use BUFFING COMPOUND or that car finish clay.
IFFFFFFF the weather is nice, may head to GODFATHERS in SPANAWAY after work.....
Those crappy stamped valve covers are leaking again on the 350. Don't wanna get a set with the pending engine swap. Guess I'll pull them, pound em out again. I do have the load-spreaders on them already......POS import stuff. Betcha the finned BBC CalCustom VCs I left with Darryl never, ever leak.

GOTAGO,
Thanks for the use of the polisher! IOU a beverage or two for the polishing compound used.
We'll see if the POWERBALL is up to the daunting task of bringing a shine to my wheels. Got any fancy polish? I have some of the Mother's in the little white can.....does not even phase the wheels. Best I've been able to do is with some 600 grit wet n dry with lots of soapy water.....
Perhaps when you bring in the POWERBALL we can do that little test-ride.
