Hey guys, just wondering where I should mount this new B&M Tranny cooler. Its not very big, I cant seem to find anywhere safe and tight to put it. It's a 70 front end...

Actually what im really curious about is can it be mounted in any position? Or should it go upright?

Phil, I put mine on the 70 in front of the radiator between the core support and grill, on the pass side. I also pointed the in and out provisions down.

this will give you a place to bolt it, even if the car had no A/C, it should have a hole for a bracket. Use that for one side, and drill another hole if needed for the other.

this was for the B@M supercooler.

On my '68 (sb400), I mounted the tranny oil cooler sideways together with the engine oil cooler. I bought the car with the engine oil cooler and I decided to keep it. Both coolers are the largest B&M coolers.

I bolted the two oil coolers together top to top and I placed them on the driver side. They both fit.

I ended up mounting it upright, there were already bolt holes in the radiator core support, its in front of the radiator behind the grill which I dont have yet smile.gif Passenger side, seems to have hooked up fine.
