Hey guys,...

Just a quick question for you. I'm currently running Mickey Thompson 29 X 12.50 X 15 Sportsmans. Every time I take a long trip in the car I realize that much more how I hate these non-radial tires. They move all over the road and are so hard they never even get traction. Totally useless. I NEED to change them but heres the problem. From what I know or can find,... Hoosier is the only company that makes this size. I happen to have BF Goodrich's on all the rest of my cars and love them... they make a great tire. Are there any companies that make a radial tire that size __ 28-30 X 10-12.5 - 15 that aren't like $300 a tire (Hoosier). Thanks for the info,
Dan

You could run a 325/50R15 or 315/60R15 BFG Drag Radial. Would give the size you want, with good traction, and still has a radial construction.

A 275/60R15 should come pretty close to that size (it is 28" tall w/ a 10.8" section width), and these are available from several manufacturers.

I just swapped from the 29/12.5/15 Sportman Pros to the 315/60/15 BFG drag radial. Since I went to a radial in the back, I went to a radial in the front(165R15 really cheap Volkswagon tires) and the car drives alot better. It used to dart all over the road, but now it's straight as an arrow.

FYI-When I swapped tires my 60ft went from a best of 1.898 to a best of 1.767
