Anyone using them? Did you have any sealing or cracking issues? Was thinking about using them instead of the ERSON stamped steel valve covers I currently have.

I know a guy who had them on a 350 and loved them. They helped to mask valvetrain noise a bit too.

I have them on a big block (454). I purchased the car with them on it already. They seemed fine for the 4 years I used the 454. They did have a slight crack down on the base probably from over-tightening. Didnt seem to leak even with the crack. So be careful tightening! Make sure you have good sealing/baffling on the breathers also.

I used them when Hartman Ind. made them before Comp bought them. Only issue happened when they got over tightened and cracked part of the fastner boss.

Also ran a set of Comps for a few years with no problems. still have them .. no SB for them though ...email if interested in them for cheap..
