I have: '67 big block with the short water pump and remote PS reservoir.

The problem: I went through the trouble of buying all the original brackets I need to mount my alt. and PS pump on my BB in the hopes that it would alleviate any problems. Just like stock , right?

There are 2 issues I'm trying to work through.
1) The upper alt. bracket where it mounts to the water pump. I cannot find a bolt that works for me here. I think I am having trouble because it's a Weiand Aluminum pump. I think I need a stud with spacers to get this to work. Anyone find anything that works for them here?
2) The adjusting bracket for the PS Pump. It looks like it originally mounted to the manifold bolt?? Well now with headers going in it looks like it won't even be close. Anyone come up with a good solution here when using headers?

Thanks,
Jim

1- a stud with spacers is the way to do it.

2- You can either bend or modify the brakcet to work with the header bolt, or use a spacer (like a thick piece of tubing) to support the bracket out where it is now. Modifying the bracket is cleaner.

If you tire of stock brackets, check out www.jonesracingproducts.com. I ditched all my stock junk and got all new stuff from Jones, and I couldn't be happier.
