Hello all, I'm new to this site, just found it tonight. Anyway I have a 78 malibu landau factory 4 speed. I have the original wheels and tires. I put in a 327 and dual exhaust, and a paint job, but everything else is original, and was wondering what you guys might think this is worth? and if any of you would be interested in it? I'm in the process of building a chopper and already have one too many cars than my landlord allows, and the malibu has been sitting in my drive for 5 years, so I need to let it go :( at least someone will enjoy it.

Joe,

I'm sure someone out there is interested in your car, we have a free Classified section you can list it in. Good luck and enjoy the best forum there is on cars!!!!

70 Chevelle is one of my all time favorites. I use to have one when i was 16. I had 6 71-72 chevelles by the time I was 19, sold them all for one reason or another :( Your 70 looks really nice.

Hello and welcome Joe. It's difficult to put a price on a car without seeing it in person. At the very least, you should post pictures and a list of options and details about the car. Post the info in the "What's it worth" section.

Welcome Joe. I would say that with your car, even though they did not come a serious performance cars, having the original stuff at least available is important on a '78. There are emissions and associated registration problems if the original stuff does not appear to be installed.
That, plus the '78 though '80 A-bodies with 4-speeds are rare in their own right.

A guy in our local club (Eastenders) has a '78 Malibu Classic coupe with a 4-speed, a 240 km/h metric speedo, and it's powered by a '72 Z/28 350. I like it a lot!
