I am about to start my car after about 3 years and I am sure the fuel system needs to be cleaned out. What should I do to my carb and fuel tank? All the old gas evaporated so it might leave some varnish behind correct?

Throw 5 gallons of new, good stuff in the tank. Maybe pull the plugs and squirt some oil in the cylinders. Make sure battery has a full charge. Pull the coil wire and crank it over until you get oil and fuel pressure.

Pop the dist. cap and see if it's oxidized; if so give it a shot of weasel pee. Re-connect coil wire.

Fire that bad boy up.
