how much difference in sound volume between the dynomax ultra-flow bullet and dynomax ultra-flow welded oval mufflers?

I can tell you that the Bullets are very loud on my car...just a hair quieter than open headers. until you open it up...then you may not like the sound, sounds kinda twangy. maybe that is because I have 3 1/2" collectors, pipes and tips...might just be the combo.

My car has the ovals. It's pretty quiet. A buddy had bullets and was kicked out of the street legal drags for being too loud. At idle it was about the same as open headers. Personally, I don't see the need for bullets, might as well run open.

thanks guys.i have a pair of welded ovals in storage waiting for install.i'm glad they are fairly quiet.i don't want to be too obvious. ;) i don't like traffic citations but i do like to make a statement! tongue.gif
